Eileen, though I know that a few of us are disappointed about not being able to paddle the Big Piney this weekend, I think you made the right call in canceling it. I know too that we all hope that Dave and Briana have minimal to no Covid symptoms, and a quick and complete recovery.

For those that still want to go. Put in is usually Boiling Spring, take out Ross bridge. The shuttle can get confusing . If you contact Pecks last resort, they offer shuttles and camping . With 3 people , no one being able to transport 3 boats, a paid shuttle might be your best option . www.peckslastresort.com/ Kathy

I'm really sorry but I think I have to cancel going on this trip also. I'm recovering from a back injury and am concerned about hurting it again doing this much paddling.

We are down to four attendees now (8/29). I think we're going to have to cancel this unless someone volunteers to be a Trip Leader.

I was signed up for the trip and I wouldn't mind stepping up to lead it (with plenty of patience and grace from other trip-goers), but I'm about 12 hours behind Dave on this COVID thing and won't be attending myself :(

We don't need to change this to a pop-up, just need someone else to volunteer as Trip Leader.

I am sorry but I cannot, even if we moved it back to Saturday and Sunday.

If there are no volunteers by Friday noon, I will cancel this trip. Please check back here and I will send out an email too.

I tested positive for Covid-19 this morning. These are the options.
1 cancel the trip
2. Switch it to a pop up trip if someone else wants to lead it.
