Thank you Caroline for all your hard work. The party was great. I look forward to more paddles with club members.

Also, bring ten bucks in cash and grab a club teeshirt!

If anyone can come a little after 5:00 to help carry things up from my car, that would be great.

Happy Holidays, Paddlers!

Our party on Thursday, December 7 is fast approaching. It starts at 6:00, but I would appreciate some early birds to help me set up (between 5:00 and 5:30), and some night hawks to help me clean up.

Don’t forget to bring serving utensils with your dishes and extension cords for your crock pots. Some power strips would be good.

We will have a few short announcements before digging in. Also, you will have an opportunity to fill out Trip Planner sheets to start our trip library (see attached – I will have some printed out) as well as sign up for committees. Okay, I heard that sigh…committees are not that much work, and they are a great way to get to know other members of the club.

Speaking of which, I would really encourage all of you to say “Hello” or sit next to people you don’t know. They may be new members and we want them to feel welcome.

A special thank you to Randy and Neva Morgart, who is again supplying the turkeys.

Your humble vice-president,
Carolyn Knarr
