Advanced sea kayak trip on the Mississippi R with lock through

Seeing if there is interest on a Mississippi R trip Sunday Sept 24 . Plan would be to meet at Maple Island Take out ( it’s at the end of Riverlands) 9 am. We will shuttle up to Dresser island Conservation Area. This requires a kayak with at least 2 bulkheads, 14’ or longer, skirt, deep water rescue skills, VHF radio if you have one. PFD, water, lunch . This is about 11 miles . The take out has a sand bar and will require some carrying due to low water. No one without deep water rescue skills or proper boat allowed. It will be cancelled if bad weather. Kathy 3144023038
