Pop-Up 01/01/23 Meramec Route 66 State Park

Thanks to Rick, John and their friend for joining me for a short paddle New Years day. Weather was beautiful and it felt good to enjoy it. River was a little murky from the Big and only saw one piece of ice floating down. Boat ramp was busy with all the power boats getting on and off the water.

Thought I would post and see if anyone was interested in a New Years Day paddle. Thinking we would put-in at the Route 66 State Park access and paddle up to Big River confluence. No shuttle, just a leisurely paddle up stream and back to start the new year. River is mostly clear of ice but the water will still be very cold. This would be a short paddle so thinking we could meet at 11:00 to allow temp to warm up. Post here or text me if interested.
