I am interested, provided that I can get a day off of work.

Long Distance paddle Carlyle Lake was created by Karen Pauls
May 17th Wednesday paddle Carlyle Lake, put-in at Carlyle Sailing Association in Hazlet State Park. Meet there at 9am. Check in with the Harbor Master Joe and meet me at the parking area by the put-in (sand, mud gravel). You will sign waivers, pay for ACA insurance if not a member, but you will not pay for day use at the club.

The plan is to paddle towards Boulder Marina upper most marina on the lake which is approximately 4+ miles as the crow flies. There are several areas to tuck into shore in case of storms. Must wear PFD, prepare for weather changes, bring water, food, change of clothes, spray skirt advised. CSA has bathhouse and cookout facilities so stay after and cook out if you want. Check out the link for directions and info.
