JUNE 1ST MONTHLY MEETING / POTLUCK AT GEORGE WINTER PARK

Thanks to everyone who showed up at our June Potluck! About two dozen paddlers had their fill of burgers, brats and hot dogs, delicious sides and deserts including peach pie and scrumptious ice cream from Jenn Drennan's ice creamery. If you are ever in Mascoutah, you must stop by her shop Happy Days. The pavilion at George Winter park worked out very well and had a beautiful view of the "lake" aka Meramec River.

Hello All.

To those of you who let me know if you were coming or not, thank you. However, there haven't been too many so far. Everyone is of course, just welcome to show up -- you don't have to RSVP.

But, just as an FYI, I'm going to buy the meat on Thursday partially based on how many RSVPs we have so we might be eating mostly sides.

The June 1st Monthly Meeting / Potluck has been moved to George Winter Park in Fenton. There is a pavilion with 5 picnic tables but NO electricity. The club will provide burgers, brats and hot dogs. Please bring a dish with serving utensils and a chair.

There is a barbecue grill (need volunteer grillers) and I (Eileen) will bring my portable Weber gas grill also. Watch this forum for more updates.

Also, please reply and let me know if you are attending so I know how much meat to bring.
