My son and I are a possible for this trip depending on when we would finish the paddle on Saturday. What is your best guess as to what time that would be? Dennis

Dave, I am strongly considering going on this trip, possibly with my son John. Question: what is the distance and approximate time on river for Saturday and Sunday? I ask because my son became fatigued on a Current River trip with the club in June and we had to pull out a little early (although he did Akers Ferry to Pulltite with the Scouts yesterday with no problem).
Dave, weather predictions are showing over 4” of rain starting late Friday night and throughout Saturday and Sunday in the area of this trip. If this forecast, or something close to it, continues, I assume that this trip will be cancelled….?
Hey Randy – Dennis Pierce here. I am going on this Current River trip this weekend with my son (11 years old) and planning on arriving Friday night. We have a small 2 person tent and 2 boats total. Can we camp with you and your boys at your campsite?

I now believe I am officially signed up (with my son) – both with club tickets and the ACA waiver. I have gravel-camped on the Buffalo, so I’m confident we’ll be able to fit our gear in our boats. We’re looking forward to this adventure!
