Not for a pop up trip like this. These are not club or ACA sanctioned. Participate at your own risk.

Alright let’s repurpose this as a day trip. Does meeting at Blue Springs Conservation Area boat ramp at 9AM sound good to you folks?

That’s the best offer I’ve had. How about Onondaga to Blue Springs on Wednesday?

We could meet at Cedar Hill park at 9AM, throw all the gear in one vehicle and head up to Morse Mill, if that’s acceptable to you.

I’ve floated Bryant from Hwy 95 to Norfork Lake and could tell you what it’s like. I might be interested in a trip depending on when and how long it would be.

We have 5 people signed up for this trip. If the weather forecasters are correct there is little chance for additional significant rainfall today, but I’ll be keeping my eye on the situation. The river level appears to be leveling out at least several feet higher than I’ve ever floated it before so it might be a quicker trip than normal. Tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy and much cooler so dress accordingly. See you then.

The river is at or near flood stage for the third time in a month. It might be floatable by the end of the week if we don’t get any more rain. We’ll see how it looks on Friday. It’s possible that there will be trees down across the river, maybe even a log jam. I’m sure there will be a coating of mud or sand on everything near the river. These conditions might make the float a little more challenging than usual, but probably nothing we can’t handle.

At present there are 4 people signed up for this trip and the rain we had yesterday brought the river up to a floatable level. Let’s hope there will be more April rain, but not too much. Somehow my contact number got posted as 1234567890, that is not correct, it is 314-585-8889.
