ParticipantRandy,
Where will you and Matt be camping Friday night? Are you planning to meet with boaters at Round Spring before heading up to Akers? If so, we could leave more vehicles at Round Spring and avoid having to do a back shuttle on Saturday morning.
I’m thinking that we could meet at Round Spring at 8 am and meet up with anyone else at Akers Ferry at 8:45.

ParticipantGreg,
We still plan to meet at Akers Ferry at 8:00 am on Saturday morning. Since many of us are camping at Round Spring on Friday night, we’ll also meet at 7:15 am at Round Spring to decide which vehicles will stay at Round Spring and which will carry kayaks and participants to Akers Ferry for the 8:00 am meeting and put-in.

ParticipantHi Dennis,
Normally there are good camp sites on gravel bars or on the banks. I’ll be looking for any suggestions from recent paddlers to see what’s available since the flooding that occurred last year.

ParticipantHappy 2025! Thanks all!
We now have completed waivers from everyone except for Kathy Pszonka, Eileen Lenkman, and David Ammons.Edward Bayham
ParticipantI’m looking forward to the paddle tomorrow. We have 12 signed up and one additional paddler who hasn’t registered yet. Only five have signed the waiver so far. Here is the link: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/e/Wni2icqJViApWC9dLiS6ke/.
