That is very generous of you. I was thinking we could use whichever of those two parks had the easiest boat ramp to use.

Long range forecast is 53 degrees and raining but that can of course, change.
Assuming there is no chance of rain, looking at going upriver on the Meramec from either George Winter Park of Minnie Ha Ha Park. Another option is to launch from the St Charles Riverfront area and check out the remnants of the Montana and Fawn steamboats, then also go upriver for awhile.
I am trying to find places that might be open for a hot drink afterwards. All suggestions welcome.

It turned out that my rudder lines were fine. They may have been salt encrusted when they stopped working last Spring when I was in Florida. Now I know what to check. Thanks to Matt Miller and Dan Garrison who checked everything out and lubricated all the moving parts with silicone spray. Florida bound in six weeks!
Please note that this would be considered a Common Adventure trip even though it’s not in that Forum. All participants should be aware of the provisions of the Common Adventure model and that this is considered a non club sanctioned trip.

If people are interested in carpooling, we can meet at my house in St Peters earlier in the evening. I can carry 6 boats and 3-4 people.
Carolyn Knarr and Deborah Dyle are camping at Echo Bluff SP on Friday night. There may still be a walk-in campsite available if anyone wants to join us. The cost is $15.
