ParticipantLooks like I have enough to work out the shuttle and the weather forecast is still great so let’s meet at the Robertsville State Park boat access at 9:30 Friday.

ParticipantI would expect to get off the river around 3:00 to 3:30 unless we have issues with the shuttle or people being late.
Dennis Strubberg
Participant9:00 would be fine. Wouldn’t expect to run shuttle before then.
Dennis Strubberg
ParticipantAlex, What time do you think you can be there? Should be able to work it out.
Dennis Strubberg
ParticipantLooks like the weather forecast has held and I hope to have enough to work out the shuttles so I will be heading down tomorrow as planned to paddle Wednesday and Thursday. Post here or text me at 314 971-5198 if you plan on coming. Should be a great mid winter break.
Dennis Strubberg
ParticipantYeah, I will probably go down Tuesday. Could do a late shuttle Wednesday, say 10:00 if some don’t want to camp two nights and would rather come down Wednesday morning. Most likely do Akers to Pultite Wednesday and Pultite to Round Spring Thursday.

ParticipantJust confirming a go for this paddle. I think we should have a clear channel, but may have some ice along the edges where the river doesn’t get much sun. Let’s meet at Sand Ford by 10:00 am as I originally posted.

ParticipantYvonne, In response to your question and what you didn’t hear is that we have about 20 members claiming affiliate status which is about 400.00 in revenue we are losing if they become regular dues paying members. This practice of recognizing affiliate status also affects the other clubs revenue when they offer the same to our members. Carolyn spoke to some of the other club presidents and they are of the same inclination about doing away with the practice. In the last two years the club has finished in the red somewhat and we are going to have to address our revenue stream at some point and this is just considered a first step. We will open online voting for this as required by our bylaws.
Hope this clears this up for you, if you have further questions we will try to answer them.

ParticipantPosting an update for this paddle. Weather looks chilly in the low thirty’s, but no precipitation or high winds, so I anticipate going ahead with option 1 in my post. Meet at Route 66 State Park boat ramp by 10:30 am. We will paddle upstream then return to the Put-in. Please heed warning about dressing appropriately for the weather and water conditions.
I have checked with Alto’s Cantina and they will be open New Year’s Day, so I am planning on a late lunch after the paddle there. Anyone is welcome to join me there, even if you do not paddle.

ParticipantEd, This trip has been moved to our Common Adventure forum. Details are posted there.
Dennis Strubberg
ParticipantMe and Robin will meet you there.
Dennis Strubberg
ParticipantWe are having issues with setting up waiver’s ticketing with the ACA so I am going to move this paddle to our common adventure forum. So please update your participation there so I will know who is attending.
Dennis Strubberg
ParticipantRobyn was having trouble logging into the website and wanted me to let you know she would be coming.
Dennis Strubberg
ParticipantPlan on being there.
