We have enough for a shuttle . Put in will be Dr Henry Uhlemeyer access on highway O . https://maps.app.goo.gl/LDDnCDniEt2yaUBQ7?g_st=ic. We can meet at 10 am. And shuttle either to Robertsville or Chouteau Claim. The Bourbose is slow moving so if we do both, it will be a longer day so let me know your wishes . As usual, this trip is free to club members with ACA insurance. Without , a $5 club fee and $10 ACA . Wear PFD and no alcohol till after the paddle. Bring lunch and water . . Kathy 3144023038 The Bourbose is a good fishing river .

September 1, 2023 at 6:49 am in reply to: Big Piney Gravel Bar Overnight Camping September 3-4 #1703adminKeymasterEileen, though I know that a few of us are disappointed about not being able to paddle the Big Piney this weekend, I think you made the right call in canceling it. I know too that we all hope that Dave and Briana have minimal to no Covid symptoms, and a quick and complete recovery.
adminKeymasterThanks Kathleen Pszonka. Very helpful.
adminKeymasterFor those that still want to go. Put in is usually Boiling Spring, take out Ross bridge. The shuttle can get confusing . If you contact Pecks last resort, they offer shuttles and camping . With 3 people , no one being able to transport 3 boats, a paid shuttle might be your best option . https://www.peckslastresort.com/ Kathy
adminKeymasterI’m really sorry but I think I have to cancel going on this trip also. I’m recovering from a back injury and am concerned about hurting it again doing this much paddling.
adminKeymasterCarolyn, I am still potentially open to going on the Big Piney trip but have a question: who, if anyone, would lead the trip?
adminKeymasterI’ve had to cancel because of a commitment Labor Day morning . I hope Dave recovers without difficulty and Brie stays negative. Thanks for being thoughtful to others . Kathy P
adminKeymasterI was signed up for the trip and I wouldn’t mind stepping up to lead it (with plenty of patience and grace from other trip-goers), but I’m about 12 hours behind Dave on this COVID thing and won’t be attending myself 🙁
adminKeymasterSo sorry you are positive. Hopeful no severe symptoms. Recover quickly. I hope someone volunteers to lead it as a popup
adminKeymasterI tested positive for Covid-19 this morning. These are the options.
1 cancel the trip
2. Switch it to a pop up trip if someone else wants to lead it.If you are willing to lead it as a pop up post below.
adminKeymasterLynette Young and Cas Chestnut would like to go on this trip. They plan on driving down to Pulltite sometime tomorrow, Wednesday.
adminKeymasterI’m looking forward to this trip. Wondering what our estimated put-in time will be on Sunday, and whether other folks in the group are planning on driving down early Sunday, or overnighting near the out-in?
