I’m in. I can carry 3 kayaks on my truck. See you there 11.30am. Let me know if you need help with anything.
This should be prime time for Fall colors! I’ll plan to meet at the Eureka Walmart at 10:30 to consolidate.

As always, dress for immersion, bring water, snacks, extra dry clothes. Wear PFD.

KathySorry Ollie. We returned at 4 pm. I paddled with Jeff Clawges. He’s a whitewater boater , now learning sea kayaking . The winds gusts about 30 mph gave us a workout . Tomorrow will even be more windy
KathyPaddled around the slough. and out near the main channel…the river smelled good tonight. Did two self-rescues before I got out…water was cold with just a t-shirt and shorts on under the dry suit. Didn’t want to push any boundaries being out by myself in the dark. Overall, it was a good paddle.

b. Possible paddle up to Lincoln Shields Eddy (not if I’m alone)
c. After dark self rescue practice in the slough
