Keymaster4 paddlers showed up. Beautiful day with eagles and herons. Started paddling 10:30 and off river by 2 with plenty of time to take breaks and photos , which I’ll post in Facebook. Kathy

KeymasterWear poly pro like running tights or long Johns and extra clothing to change into in a dry bag. Wear a wind breaker to hold in your body heat . Cap . Your feet will get wet so who socks if you don’t have neoprene booties . Kathy

KeymasterYes. It’s only 5.5 miles but slow flow. Always good to bring a headlamp this time of year

KeymasterSounds like fun. Will see you there!
Meeting at 10 – does that give us enough time to shuttle to take out and get back?admin
KeymasterSorry for late reply. It was awesome!!! Definitely worth it. Kids loved it! Such an easy option if Big Muddy is out renting. I was going to put all three of us in the tandem but Big Muddy really wanted me to try my big (almost 9yo) in a single so they threw it in for me, and he did SOOO great! Off on his own like a champ! Really want to keep trying to get them out little by little.

KeymasterInterested, and can fit two yaks on my roof rack (I have Yakima pads and noodles)
To dress for immersion…does that mean dry suit or wet suit? I have a skirt but no wetsuit yet (and probably not investing in dry suit yet until I’m paddling more)
