I am looking forward to this trip. This section is nice and scenic with lots of small mouth fishing holes. I am also can’t wait for the BBQ pot luck at the park afterwards.
Dave
What time do you estimate we will be at the take out. I would think between 3 and 4pm?
With the weather, wish it was Sunday. With the clouds, wind, and cold, having seconds thoughts doing this in my sit on top.
It is going to windy tomorrow, but luckily the wind will be at our back most of the trip. There will be on short section on the Bourbeuse when the will be in our face. Remember to dress for immersion. No cotton and bring a change of clothes in a dry bag.
What time do you estimate we finish, around 3?
Thanks Jan for organizing a fun trip. I was glad I was not in a canoe on some of the short stretches when the wind was in our face. The BBQ was great, as was the potato salad and coleslaw.
Thanks for a good day on the river. Windy yes, a good workout, and a good food afterwards. The raccoons say thank you for the food that blew off the table, especially the donut holes.,
