Looks like Fridays rain isn’t supposed to be excessive, so hoping the Meramec will be down to a good level by Sunday. Will still be up so thinking of doing a longer stretch since we have plenty of daylight. This is a 15 mile paddle. The plan would be to meet at the Meramec State Park boat ramp at 9:00 to combine boats and gear to shuttle up to the put in. Post here or text me at 314 nine71 Five198 if interested. Will be monitoring river level and will make a final decision on Saturday.

I may come, I’ll see how my arm performs and if there’s any pain I’ll have to pass.

That’s quite a distance for one day, but I’m thinking about it. I’m so out of shape!

Carolyn, Dennis is never in hurry that is why I’m considering this.

I’d like to go! I only have a 10′ kayak, so if anyone is open to letting me try out a longer boat, I’d appreciate it.

I would think that a 10′ boat would be fine.

Ok! I worry I’m going to be too slow.

Since I have some people who may be concerned with doing 15 miles, we could as an alternative do Meramec State Park to Sand Ford. This would be about 7 miles. Let me know how you feel about this and if people want to do this instead, I will adjust the paddle. Will post final plans tomorrow afternoon.

The weather forecast is inconsistent for tomorrow, but looks like there is a chance for some morning showers. If people still want to try to get this paddle in we could meet at Meramec State Park boat ramp at 10:30. Hopefully any morning showers will have ended by then. Since this is only a seven mile paddle we would still have plenty of time. Let me know if you are still interested. Would be sure to bring rain gear if you decide to come.

I’m still planning on coming unless it’s heavy rain. My gear is only good for light weather.

My boat is still on my car, my boots are on the boot dryer, my arm feels bionic.

I just spoke with Maura, she’s packing for the trip so we will be there. See you at the boat ramp at meramac state park, 10:30
