Board Nominations are open
August 8-September 4, 2025
It’s that time of year! We’re officially opening our Call for Nominations for the Board of Directors. The positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer are all up for election. Ed (treasurer) and Natalie (secretary) will not be seeking another term for our current roles of Treasurer and Secretary.
Between now and Wednesday, September 4 at noon, please use this online nomination form to submit your nominations. We will share the slate of candidates at the September 4 potluck. Online voting will run Sept 5 through noon on October 3 and will conclude with in person voting at the October 3 member meeting. Results will be announced at the end of the October 3 meeting. A few notes:
- You may nominate yourself or someone else (with their permission).
- Nominees must be current individual or household members (affiliate members are not eligible).
- This year’s form follows a more detailed format, similar to the one used by the American Canoe Association. The responses will be shared with the membership after the potluck to help inform your vote.
- If you don’t have all the nominee’s details but have their consent, you can simply submit their name—a member of the Board will follow up with them directly.
