Annual Skills Clinic

Our annual flatwater skills clinic will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Council Bluff Lake. Please note this is a new date. Come on out to learn deep water skills in a kayak or canoe with others in a group at your skill level. You’ll learn skills for communication, strokes, turning, stopping, self-rescue, and partner-rescue. The clinic is free with club membership. Skills taught are geared to the needs of the participants.
A few teaser details:
• We will reserve a group campsite at Council Bluff for Friday and Saturday night.
• We will do a moonlight paddle at dark on Friday night.
