If you have kids who are learning to kayak or just need practice, join me, Aziz, and Ameera at Klondike Park at 9:30, October 18 on the shore where kayaks are rented (next to swings after a big playground). Come have fun with your “ducklings”. All kids should have well-fitting, Coast Guard approved PFDs. If you have never been there…the lake is more like a big pond. No swimming allowed.
Depending on the weather, we may be camping that night. Klondike Park has a great campground. -
