ParticipantAt present there are 4 people signed up for this trip and the rain we had yesterday brought the river up to a floatable level. Let’s hope there will be more April rain, but not too much. Somehow my contact number got posted as 1234567890, that is not correct, it is 314-585-8889.

ModeratorThis will be a fun trip for anyone, regardless of whether or not you fish! Also a good trip for first time on a river. Super easy and relaxing.

ParticipantThe river is at or near flood stage for the third time in a month. It might be floatable by the end of the week if we don’t get any more rain. We’ll see how it looks on Friday. It’s possible that there will be trees down across the river, maybe even a log jam. I’m sure there will be a coating of mud or sand on everything near the river. These conditions might make the float a little more challenging than usual, but probably nothing we can’t handle.

ParticipantI’ve been looking forward to floating this section when there is ‘decent’ flow.
So, hoping not too much rain on Fri & Sat…With these warming days, the flora, fauna, and fishing should all be trending up!
Echoing Gary: soft banks make the take-out & any logjam-portaging kind of ‘sporty’.
My present boat is too heavy (11′, 66 lbs) for a lot of that. -

ParticipantMe and Maura plan to come, if for any reason the trip is canceled I’m offering my place for fishing as a back up plan for anyone that was registered 636 364-2097. Lonedell Lakes.

ParticipantWe have 5 people signed up for this trip. If the weather forecasters are correct there is little chance for additional significant rainfall today, but I’ll be keeping my eye on the situation. The river level appears to be leveling out at least several feet higher than I’ve ever floated it before so it might be a quicker trip than normal. Tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy and much cooler so dress accordingly. See you then.
