If I could impose on 3 folks to each carry one small ditty bag for me, I could join in on this trip: 1 for backpacking tent, 1 for sleeping bag and 1 for a few clothes, etc.
Bill has truck at Dauphin Island cleaning up hurricane mess, so I have no way to transport my sea kayak. (I can fit my ww boat inside my car, but no storage room.)I cancelled on the trip so we can have room for more members to go but I will be there with the ancillary group doing the same float, just camping on a different gravel bar.

How about at the Hwy exit leading to West Tyson County Park? It is just prior to crossing over the Meramec. We could meet on the outer road near the entrance to the Chubb Trail Head at 2:30?

I am also planning camping at Round Springs Friday night. I believe only first come first serve available and there were plenty so I am going to go early Friday.
After reviewing poll and information, we will paddle from Cedargrove to Round Springs. We will meet st Round Springs Upper Canoe Access at 8:00 am. We will consolidate and drive up to Cedargrove leaving some vehicles at Round Springs to have a ride back up on Sunday. While shuttling mask are required. We will be camping on a gravel bar on the river.
