Sounds great. Thanks Louise. I will get there as soon as I can but I know it will be after 8:30 unless I learn how to fly. Will you be at Round Springs or Pulltite campgrounds?

Jenn, You can share my site with me. I have a white Prius. Will get there in plenty of time to get one of the first come first serve sites. I plan on coming down even if it is too late for me to join the float.

So to clarify, we meet at Round Springs upper parking lot at 8 am Sat ? Shuttle to Cedar Groves? Kathy
we did unfortunately our contact with the park retired and because of Covid-19 was unable to reserve a group site
There are campsites at Pulltite, first come basis which is close by. I have a reserved campsite but already have a share for it.
Could someone remind me, did we camp at Group Camp A (4-9) last year? It is near the Middle Landing. It had large grassy areas and some metal picnic tables.
– EdJenn There are only first come first serve sites left but there are plenty of them (over 30). There are 2 tents per site. I am already sharing my site with someone. I should be there by 3pm. I don’t see a problem getting a site when you arrive but if there is I can sleep in my SUV (I was thinking of doing that anyway but not sure)
There are only a few campsites at Round Spring that are relatively level and not rocky. The last time I looked the only sites left are first come first served.
