Hi, I’ll join! My cell is 1 (314) 852-7522 but I’m not sure I have anyone else’s number. I will have lots of layers, my skirt, and dry clothes in a dry bag. I have Wellington boots (rain boots?) but no neoprene booties. Would happily borrow an old pair of accept any tips on staying dry, thanks!

Sorry, I put the wrong date on this meant Sunday 2/26/23. Do have enough for a shuttle so this paddle should be a go. Would like to meet at Blue Spring Access by 9:30 to combine boats and shuttle up to Onondaga. Post or text me if interested in joining us.

Meramec would be fun for me. I know it’s old had to many but still relatively new to me. Onandaga to Blue Spring or Allenton to Sherman Beach (new stretch for me) or Chouteau to Palisades. I’ve never been on the Meramec II stretch (basically Campbell to Chouteau).

I’m really game for anything between 7-15 and within 60, maybe 75 min drive. If there are other stretches of nearby rivers that would be less boring to you or others I’m down.

I could paddle tomorrow if enough would join us for a shuttle. You have something in mind?

Just signed up, Saturday night will be the peak of the Perseids meteor showers with a new moon. My app says peak close to 100 an hour early Sunday Morning. This will be an outstanding place to watch them with its very dark sky

June is so overbooked at CSA we can’t use the facilities. Adult sail seminar which is mid-week, junior sail camp which is all week, catamaran regatta,

Dennis you and Kathy P are currently the only ones responding from CanoeKayak. I think there will be several members from CSA who will paddle with us. Let’s just say for now it’s a one day trip. The lake as Kathy says might be chilly so definitely dress for water + air temps. I would hope we don’t need to practice self rescue, but we could in the harbor, just a short distance to the warm shower house. Plan to bring a sea kayak or touring boat as the distance we travel will be over 5 miles or more depending on wind and waves.

I’m often available mid week, but would the water be still cold ? People would need to have clothing for immersion. I have dry suit and wet suit . May is whitewater season . Kathy

During the school year, mid-week is more problematical for me, but could probably still do it, especially if just a one day trip.

To those of you who responded, would you still want to paddle mid-week. Weekends at the sailing club are booked so am trying to get enough people to come out between Tue to Thurs. What do you think.

Ok, I understand, that’s why I’m going on the MWA Buffalo Trip April 27-30. Interesting trip, Ponca to Pruitt taking a leisurely 3 days, instead of two, to leave time to hike every day.
