Mapquest B & Brown Canoe Rental. They are right across the creek from the access. It’s the same place we used the last time.

John, I think you need to put in “Huzzah Conservation Area River Access” to get to the right spot but I will let the trip leader respond.Upper Bourbeuse is kind of out for me. Haven’t been up there since before covid. Kind of far for either a short paddle or too long a paddle. Huzzah is at a good level but shuttle will be tricky since the forest service screwed up parking at their access. Still I would prefer to do it. So lets meet at the Scotia Access at 9:30 to combine boats and shuttle up to the put-in.
Upper Bourbeuse sounds okay. I don’t think I’ve done that stretch before.
Also, the Huzzah might be good. We did it last year at this time.I like that upper Bourbeuse but I need to be back in town by 6 pm for a meeting . If that would work, I’m in. It’s about 1.5 hrs from STL .
I am interested in paddling also on Wednesday. Rich Orr also has an interest and he suggested the upper Bourbeuse. A little faster water than a normal Meramec trip but shouldn’t be bad. What do you think?
