I am not going to be available for the Race For the Rivers on the Missouri on Saturday, August 24. It is my favorite race because it is run by Greenway Network, a group of kind people who care about area rivers like we do. And, because it is close to home: either Weldon to Blanchette Landing or Klondike to Blanchette Landing. I would like to fund you to compete for me. You need to bring your own boat and promise that you will race. You choose 20 or 30 miles. Preference would go to someone who wants to do tandem and has a confirmed paddling partner. Both tandem members will be funded. If I do not get a suitable tandem team, I will happily fund a solo. You keep any T-shirts, medals, and associated perks. Apply to Joan Twillman.
