I am planning on this one and plan to bring two kids and one adult (also a club member). I’ll probably be moving slowly in an inflatable K2 that fits me and my two kids unless my older is ready to borrow a boat or a tandem.

So strange, Eileen, because I could have sworn I signed up for this. I have a registration confirmation from March that says I signed up (though for that email the subject line was incorrect trip name and body of email was family float). I’m currently having trouble logging in to my regfox acct because I can’t remember my password and it’s not letting me reset…otherwise I would check all my registrations.

Randy , the kids trip is the same day as the Saturday Lake Carlyle trip . I know you talked about that too. Just wanted to clarify . Kathy

I have a rec tandem if you want to borrow it. I won’t be on this trip so you would have to pick it up earlier from my house. Kathy

Dave and Kathy, thank you for offers of boats! I have crappy paddles and good PFDs for the kids. I hope to figure out at the skills clinic what to borrow for dealing with my kiddos – we’ll have two adults and two kids in my party.

My 6yo definitely needs to be in a boat with me. I’m not sure if my 9yo is ready to be in his own boat on moving water, so I might need to borrow a rec tandem + use my K2 between the two adults and two kids. Again…hoping to learn more from the clinic, and also learn more about what types of sit-in boats they start young kids in before I consider buying something.

I plan to bring five people, will enter in Regfox this evening or tomorrow. They are Trinity Lewis, Aven Morgart, Wayne Morgart, Rachel Sliger, Logan Howard.

There ia a great number of folks who have signed up for the trip. We will meet at the Mammoth Access at 9:00 AM. Directions. 21 south and in DeSoto turn right on Highway H. Go 44 miles and turn left on Mammoth rd. After you cross the river turn left to the access. Remember to bring plenty of liquids, lunch and sunscreen.
