SUMMARY:Cache River Trip
DESCRIPTION:October 19 @ 6:00 pm – October 20 @ 5:00 pm    Free – $11.50 \nCome explore the northern most cypress swamp in the country. Enjoy views of the oldest and largest cypress trees in the state of Illinois. The Cache River is a biodiverse environment with interesting views. Come paddle the Cache River Canoe Trail to enjoy a real bayou experience with no “gators”. It is an easy paddling with very flat water and no appreciable current. \nWe will be paddling the Cache River on Sunday and camping the night before at the Village of Karnak Campground. We will meet at the campground at 6:00 pm.  I have site 16. To make a reservation\, call 618-634-9311. (There are bathrooms and electric.) You can access a map to the campground below. \nIf you cannot join us for camping\, meet us at 9:oo am Sunday morning at the Lower Cache River Access in Ullin\, Illinois.  Lower Cache River Access – Google Maps \nBring your lunch and everything you normally bring for a day on the river. \nSuitable for young paddlers and their parents or guardians. \n  \nTrip leader: Debbie Dyle   (dylemedebbie@gmail.com) \nTo attend this trip/event: \n\n\nYou must reserve ticket for each person attending (see tickets below).\nThis provides the trip coordinator with important information for safety and communication and gives the club important information we need for reporting to ACA within 30 days of the event.\n\nYou must fill out an event-specific waiver.
