There were 6 participants in this year’s trip: Cindy, Don, Grant, Harry, Maryann and Gary. The river level was higher this year and the water was not as clear. While quite a few fish were caught they were mostly little ones. It was fun catching them, but it’s always nice to land a few that you can brag about. The weather was pleasant, but windy. There were a lot of leaves and other debris in the water which made fishing more challenging. There was also a lot of pollen and other allergens in the air so there was quite a bit of coughing and sneezing going on. We only saw two other people on the river and the scenery and solitude were enjoyed by all.
