Rescheduled Carlyle Lake Weekend Paddle

We will be meeting at the boat ramp at Eldon Hazlet State Recreation Area on Saturday, June 7th at 10am. We will be paddling both Saturday and Sunday. This trip is suitable for both sea kayaks and shorter boats and all skill levels. Those in non-sea kayak boats will be exploring the lake shore and observing wildlife.
People can camp at Eldon Hazlet State Park, coming in on Friday night or Saturday morning but you’ll have to make reservations at Carlyle Lake, Illinois – Recreation.gov . You can also drive in from St Louis for the day, either or both Saturday and Sunday. Exact details about camping and the paddles will be discussed in the forum as people sign up.

- You must reserve ticket for each person attending (see tickets below).
