Forest Park 2018 Cleanup

This event will be done in conjunction with the Open Space Council and Forest Park. This is your once a year opportunity to paddle the stream that flows end to end through Forest Park. We will be "on the water" in preparation for Earth Day.(which is the next weekend.

We will meet at 8:30 at the parking lot in front of the Forest Park Visitor Center. Look for all the kayaks and canoes. We will split into two groups and shuttle to each end of the stream, cleaning up debris, trash and golf balls until we meet back in the middle by noon at the muny.

Smaller boats are preferable. Bags, tongs and gloves will be provided.We will be doing some light portaging. PFDs are mandatory. Bring water and snack. We will meet for lunch afterward at the boathouse.
